The West Coast is, by Swedish standards, a densely populated region, where popular recreational areas share the space with Scandinavia’s largest port and major chemical industries. These facilities already use large volumes of grey hydrogen, which will be replaced by renewable hydrogen as new production is launched in the hub. The hydrogen will be produced close to existing and future users – at the port and along major transport routes.
